Body Located in Pembroke Township After Deputies Respond to Shots Fired
At approximately 9:21 PM yesterday evening (8/3/2021), sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of Shots Fired near the SS Friendly Mart (2727 S 13000E Rd., Pembroke Township, IL). Upon arrival, deputies located evidence that led them to a victim. The subject, who was later pronounced deceased on the scene, was identified as 21-year old, Deric Wren III of Kankakee.
