March 6, 2019 – Kankakee, IL – Sheriff’s deputies and investigators are on scene of death investigation in rural Pembroke Township. At approximately 6:34 am this morning, Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched and responded to an unresponsive person that was located along the roadway in the 3500 block of South Main Street in Pembroke Township.

Upon arrival, emergency personnel located one unresponsive male subject. Kankakee County Coroner Bob Gessner’s office pronounced the subject deceased on the scene. The victim’s information is not being released at this time pending notification of next of kin.
