Death Investigation Underway in Reddick
NOVEMBER 20, 2015- KANKAKEE, IL – Kankakee County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Shannon Shores (rural Reddick) late Tuesday evening (11/17/2015) in reference to a deceased subject. Upon arrival, officers located 49-year-old Reddick resident, Theodore N Rockwood II, inside his residence. Rockwood, who was pronounced dead on the scene by Kankakee County Coroner Bob Gessner, had several gunshot wounds.
“Sheriff’s Detectives, along with the Illinois State Police, continue to investigate the incident,” said Kankakee County Undersheriff Mike Downey. “We hope to provide additional information if and when it becomes available.”
