Barry L. Brown, 47-years-old of Kankakee, who was listed as ‘Missing’ last month after fleeing from his crashed vehicle, has been located, and subsequently arrested.  Brown was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant relating to an incident that happened moments before the crash on July 13^th. 

“The search for Mr. Brown resulted in extensive and exhaustive efforts on behalf of multiple police/fire agencies, including K9/Drone searches, teams of volunteers walking the cornfield row-by-row in the summer heat, etc.,” said Sheriff Mike Downey.  “It’s unfortunate that this subject, and those that reported him missing, were irresponsible enough to lead everyone into believing that his whereabouts were still unknown simply due to his fear of prosecution for his actions that evening. We do appreciate everyone that assisted our officers during the search.”
